Camberford Law was founded in 1958 and its business comprises a range of SME and commercial schemes with specialist expertise in security, contractors, professional services and property.  The business, which has capacity from composite insurers and Lloyd’s, was appointed an accredited Lloyds broker in 2006 and has offices in Bromley, Kent and the City of London.  Camberford Law manages over £38m GWP.

City of London Underwriting Agencies trades solely through insurance intermediaries, specialising in Commercial classes of business. Their product range includes Commercial Combined, Contractors, General Liability, High Risk Liability and All Risks, Fire Protection and Security.

City of London have an experienced underwriting team who aim to provide competitive quotations and an excellent level of personal service to brokers.

European Property Underwriting Limited ( EPUL) was established in October 2013 following the sale of Towergate Underwriting Commercial Property to Global Risk Partners.

EPUL provides insurance brokers with specialist advice and insurance for mid to large property owners, asset managers and pension funds in the UK and Europe.

The team is led by Ian Dopson, Andrew Whittaker and Steve Lawrence, who have over 80 years combined experience in this sector. With a well earned reputation as property insurance experts, EPUL controls significant GWP and manages the insurance portfolio of some of Europe's largest property owners, providing outstanding service to brokers.


Plum Underwriting

Plum Underwriting

Plum is an underwriting agency established in 2002 and focuses on the specialist home insurance market.

Plum offer their specialist home insurance products to UK and ROI insurance brokers, and do this in the following ways:

-on an "open market" basis, where a quote is requested via Plum's online broker portal

-via insurance software houses ( such as Open GI, SSP, CDL) on an EDI basis

-via delegated underwriting authority, where Plum will issue a binding authority to the broker

Underwriting capacity is provided by Lloyd's of London and other leading company market insurers. In addition to Plum's status as fully approved Lloyd's of London coverholder, they can also act as a Lloyd's broker with access to the wider London market.

In February 2016, Plum acquired the business of high net worth specialist MGA, Synergy Insurance Services who provide a range of bespoke specialist personal HNW household and lifestyle products to UK brokers. Synergy rebranded as Plum Underwriting in October 2016.

Plum were voted a "Top 5" personal lines insurer in the annual Insurance Times Broker Service Survey for 2016/17 and have featured in the top 10 since 2010.
